Dr. Ankit D. Oza currently working as a Research Professor at Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He has received Ph.D in Industrial Engineering from the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar, India. His major research area includes Non-traditional and hybrid Micro-machining processes and its applications, Advanced Manufacturing Science and Technology, Finite Element Method, Design of Experiments in Manufacturing. He has extensive knowledge of the design and development of various advanced hybrid micro-machining processes. During Ph.D tenure, he has designed and developed 2 nos. of the experimental setup of traveling wire-electrochemical discharge machining (TW-ECDM) process for machining of various non-conducting materials at a micro-level. Recently, he has successfully modified EDM setup for Micro-ECDM process (which is available in the workshop, PDPU). He has published more than 65+ papers in the reputed Journals and, attended and presented 25+ papers in the international conferences in reputed institutions like IITs, NITs. Additionally, he has published 7 book chapters and 3 under press. He has 15 Indian Industrial Design Patents (11 Granted and others are under review). Additionally, he has 5 International south african patent granted, 4 German Patent granted and 4 UK Design Patent Granted. Furthermore, he has one Indian granted copy rights. Recently, he Awarded “Best Indian Researcher” In World Innovation Patent Conclave 2022, Organized by Apeejay School of Management, Delhi, India, on 26-27 August 2022. Also, Best Research Paper Awarded in the “1ST International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICRAM 2022)” on 25-27 August 2022, Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT-Jodhpur Rajasthan, India He is also professional consultant of IPR and he helped 65+ various universities and filed patents 785+. He also delivered expert talks in various prestige universities and colleges. He is a reviewer of Springer Journal, SAGE Publication, Taylor and Francis, Elsevier and others, Editorial board member of “Journal of Mechanical and Manufacturing Process (JMMP)”, USA and Editorial board member of “American Journal of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (AJMME)”, New York, NY 10020, U.S.A. Furthermore, he was invited Reviewer for “International Conference on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering” at Munich, Germany. In addition, he attended many STTPs, NPTEL Courses, technical seminars in various reputed institutes. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Executive (CSSE), Black Belt by Henry Harvin Education. He is enthusiasm for participation in group activities and always willingly ready to run an extra mile for the sake of his peers. Apart from research, he has mentored research staffs and B.Tech and M.Tech students and published the collaborative work at Journals and International conferences.
